Founded in 2017, TSAR BOMBA officially made its debut in Mexico, marking an important milestone for the brand. The launch took place during the latest edition of the Salón Internacional Alta Relojería (SIAR Latam 2025), where TSAR BOMBA showcased some of its most iconic collections, including The Light Matter Series and The Electron Series.
Each collection clearly reflects the brand’s core philosophy: high-performance, customizable timepieces with a bold, forward-thinking design that challenges traditional watchmaking norms.
Beyond presenting its collections, TSAR BOMBA used the three-day SIAR Latam 2025 exhibition to announce a major partnership—legendary footballer Rafa Márquez as its official brand ambassador. To celebrate the collaboration, the brand unveiled a special edition timepiece inspired by the Mexican sports icon, titled The Dark Matter Series by Rafa Márquez.

The Dark Matter Series by Rafa Márquez from TSAR BOMBA stands out for its exceptional level of customization. The timepiece features interchangeable straps, crowns, and bezels available in blue, green, black, orange, and red, allowing wearers to tailor the watch to different occasions, moods, and personal styles.
At its core, the watch is powered by the Sellita SW500 automatic movement, delivering an impressive 63-hour power reserve. The chronograph functions are clearly displayed on the dial, ensuring optimal legibility, while the dial itself is finished with meteorite, adding a distinctive and premium character to the timepiece.
Material innovation plays a central role in this special edition. The case is crafted from a combination of carbon fiber and titanium, offering a balance of strength, lightness, and durability. The interchangeable bezels are also finished in carbon fiber, reinforcing the watch’s high-performance identity. The durable rubber straps, offered in multiple colors, are designed to seamlessly match the bezels and crowns—making it easy to transform the watch for different moments, from everyday wear to more dynamic settings.
The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and equipped with AlphaLuminex, ensuring excellent visibility even in low-light conditions.
