Sapphire Crystal
To fully showcase the watch’s exquisite details, the Tsarbomba features a synthetic sapphire crystal that has undergone highly scratch-resistant and anti-reflective treatments. Prior to machining and finishing, the sapphire crystal is produced using the Vernay method (also known as the flame fusion method). This method uses a hydrogen-oxygen flame to melt the raw material and crystallize the molten droplets into cylindrical shapes. The resulting sapphire crystal achieves a rating of 9 on the Mohs hardness scale (1–10), making it virtually scratch-resistant and exceptionally hard, ensuring the wearer always enjoys a clear, unobstructed view.
